Online registration has begun for the Assam Forest Guard Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive is being conducted by the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam. The age limit is set at a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 40 years as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided to SC, ST, OBC, and ex-servicemen as per the rules of the Government of Assam. The applicant must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.

There, they will have to register by clicking on the Assam Forest Guard Recruitment 2026 link. After that, they will have to log in and fill in their personal and educational information, and upload their photograph, signature, and necessary certificates. After submitting the form, it is essential to keep the application ID safe. Importantly, there is no application fee for this recruitment.
The selection process will consist of several stages, including a Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination, a walking test for some positions, an oral examination, and a medical test. Only candidates who complete all stages will be considered for final selection.
