'I'm dating both of them': 24-year-old woman's relationship with twin brothers shocks the internet

A 24-year-old woman from Thailand has found herself at the centre of an online storm after openly sharing that she is dating twin brothers at the same time, and that both families are completely fine with it.

Her name is Fah, and she lives in Nakhon Phanom, a quiet province in northeastern Thailand. She works at a local restaurant, helping both in the kitchen and with serving, and earns a little over 10,000 baht (around ₹29,000) a month. Until recently, her life was fairly ordinary. Then she posted about her relationship online, and everything changed.

Fah says she had been single for more than a year and wasn’t even looking for love when the twins reached out to her. The younger brother, Suea, was the first to message her. After a while, he encouraged his twin, Sing, to contact her as well. What began as casual conversations slowly turned into something more serious, with both brothers.

At the time, Fah was still completing her studies. The three of them eventually started dating and even moved in together, sharing a dormitory close to her workplace. According to Thai media, the twins are a year younger than her and work in agricultural machinery services.

Online criticism hasn’t bothered her much.

Fah says she handles the household, manages their finances, and even shops for clothes for both men. What surprises many people is her claim that there is no jealousy between the brothers. She describes their relationship as stable, comfortable, and emotionally fulfilling.

From the beginning, the trio has shared the same bed, with Fah usually sleeping between the twins. She has spoken openly about intimacy, saying it isn’t planned or scheduled.

“We don’t make rules about it,” she said in one interview. “We just go with what feels right for everyone.”

Work often leaves all three exhausted, she added, and on many nights nothing happens at all. When she’s too tired, the brothers simply wait, and the three spend time resting or watching television together. Fah calls their arrangement practical and uncomplicated.

She has even thought about the future.

If she ever becomes pregnant, Fah says she would take a DNA test to determine the biological father, so official records remain clear. Still, she hopes the child would grow up calling both men “dad,” since both play equal roles in her life.

Unsurprisingly, the story has triggered strong reactions online.

Some users have called the relationship unrealistic, saying it would be impossible to give equal attention and love to both partners. Others worry about confusion for any future children.

But there is also a wave of support.

“If everyone involved is happy, then there’s nothing wrong with it,” one person commented. Another pointed out that the twins look nearly identical, joking that Fah must truly love them to be able to tell them apart.

The story has also revived interest in Thailand’s past.

Before 1935, polygamy was legally recognised in the country, with different categories of wives under old family law. Children from all unions were considered legitimate, and marriage registration was not required. That changed when King Chulalongkorn modernised Thai law to match European standards, and monogamy became the legal norm from October 1, 1935.

Today, the law is clear: no one can marry if they already have a spouse.

But Fah’s story isn’t about marriage, at least not yet.

For now, it’s simply about three people choosing an unusual path, fully aware that the world is watching.
