Donovan Mitchell scored 33 points and Evan Mobley added a season-high 29 as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Sacramento Kings 123-118 on Friday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Cleveland overcame a late Kings rally, which saw Sacramento take a 114-113 lead with four minutes remaining, as Mitchell hit a critical 3-pointer with 2:29 left.

Mobley contributed 13 rebounds and seven assists, anchoring one of the Cavs’ most complete performances this season.

Domantas Sabonis scored 24 points with 16 rebounds and six assists for Sacramento, while Dennis Schroder added 21 and DeMar DeRozan 20 in the losing effort.

The Cavaliers jumped out to a 16-2 start, but Sacramento responded in the first half with Schroder and Sabonis combining for 31 points to lead 71-68 at halftime.

Cleveland guard Jaylon Tyson sealed the victory with a floater in the final 26 seconds after the Kings missed three straight 3-pointers in the closing minute.

The Cavaliers improved to 26-20, winning four of five and extending their record to 16-5 against teams with losing records. The Kings fell to 12-34, losing their fourth consecutive game.

Cleveland played without point guard Darius Garland due to a sprained toe and will re-evaluate him next week.

Cavaliers next face Orlando on Saturday, while Sacramento begins a six-game road trip at Detroit on Sunday.
