Trainer Nicky Henderson has given an update on. the condition of Sir Gino, after the star hurdler was pulled up on Festival Trials Day.
The 2-5 favourite had been held up by jockey Nico de Boinville in the Grade Two Unibet Hurdle when he suffered an injury after the third last flight.
Vets were quickly on the scene and Henderson said his horse has been taken to a nearby equine hospital for further assessment.
"They were able to put him into the ambulance. It's right hind, it appears to be high up and there are no lower limb fractures," the Seven Barrows handler confirmed.
"It would appear to be a pelvic injury. He will go straight to the Three Counties veterinary clinic where they can assess, scan and see where we are. Everybody is fighting.

"Pelvic injuries can be little ones and big ones. We just have to keep everything crossed."
The winner of seven of his eight starts on the racecourse, Sir Gino was the ante-post favourite for the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
He had returned to action in the Grade One Christmas Hurdle at Kempton on Boxing Day, his first racecourse appearance for 364 days, following expert care for a leg infection.
"I've been lucky to have had a lot of good horses and not many like him. He's special," Henderson added.
The New Lion (9-4) won the race, coming out best in a close finish with his two other rivals Nemean Lion and Brentford Hope.
A statement from Cheltenham Racecourse said: "In our sixth race of the day, Sir Gino was quickly pulled up and was dismounted. He was immediately attended to by our expert veterinary team where he was assessed on course. Sir Gino has walked onto the horse ambulance to go back to the stables for further assessment."
