Pakistan, T20 World Cup 2026: Bangladesh is officially out of T20 World Cup 2026. ICC has also given the final seal on his replacement. After Bangladesh's exit, now there is news that Pakistan team may also be out of the tournament. The question is that if Pakistan is out, which team will take its place? Which team will get a place in the tournament as a replacement for Pakistan and why? Pakistan had supported Bangladesh in the dispute with ICC. He had said that if Bangladesh is out, then he too will reconsider his decision of participating in the T20 World Cup 2026.
Will Pakistan be out of the tournament? Government will take decision
Pakistan has not yet reached its final decision regarding withdrawal from T20 World Cup 2026. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi says that the final decision on this will be taken by the country's government. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is currently out of the country. A final decision on this will be taken as soon as he returns.

Naqvi said that whatever happened to Bangladesh is injustice. There should be same rules for every team. There should be no discrimination in that. He said that if the Pakistan government asks us to boycott the tournament, we will do so. ICC can again include the 22nd team.
If not Pakistan then who?
Now the question is who will be the team that will take its place after Pakistan boycotts the T20 World Cup 2026. It is believed that that team could be from Uganda because that is the next better ranked team.
What did Rashid Latif say?
According to former Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman Rashid Latif, if Pakistan team is out of the tournament then Ugandan team can get its place. He further wrote that the Indian team can again be seen competing with Uganda in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad with a capacity of 1,32,000 lakhs.

Pakistan's preparations for the tournament continue
The decision on whether Pakistan will be out of the T20 World Cup 2026 or not will be taken as soon as its Prime Minister returns to the country. But, meanwhile, Pakistan's preparations are in full swing to participate in the tournament. Now Pakistan is going to announce its team for T20 World Cup 2026.
