Call received on UP 112, police immediately came into action
According to the police, around 10:30 pm on Saturday night, a call was made on UP 112 informing about a bomb blast in the Ram temple. As soon as the information was received, Ayodhya Police, local intelligence unit and other security agencies became active. As a precautionary measure, the security of the temple premises and surrounding areas was further tightened.
The mobile location of the caller who gave the information was traced, after which the police took him into custody. Investigation revealed that the accused is a youth resident of Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. At present the police have not made his identity public.
