A couple renovating their Victorian home have showcased an array of peculiar discoveries hidden within the property's interior walls. Amanda and Vinny are working to restore the house to its "former glory" and are chronicling their progress on social media.
In a TikTok video, the duo disclosed that their initial find occurred a year ago. Yet 12 months later, they continue to unearth items dating back more than a century.
Their footage opened with Vinny exploring the timber joists in one room, where he stumbled upon a black and white photograph. Alongside it was a prescription from 1925, intended for collection at a New Jersey chemist.

Vinny then retrieved a New York newspaper page bearing the headline 'Bandits Killed', dated 1931.
Following this was a grimy bottle of oil for sewing machines and lawnmowers, a toy soldier, and a shoehorn bearing the inscription - Daniel J. Ahearn. Amanda remarked: "A shoehorn in the wall, interesting."
Vinny subsequently found an orange thread - reel likely to be for a sewing machine, a wooden clothes peg, and a condolence card. It stated: "With deepest sympathy. Emma, Rick, Jenny and Ralph."
Another toy figure soon emerged, along with a large light bulb and a jar of talcum powder.
In the clip's caption, Amanda added: "One year later we're still finding items left in the walls by past tenants in different areas of the house during renovations.
"If you have the opportunity to buy an older home, do it! You never know what you're going to find!"
Writing in response, one TikTok user enquired: "Are you going to put any of them back?"
To which Amanda revealed: "We want to figure out a way to display them in the house like a little museum. I was thinking of at least taking pictures of everything and putting them back in the walls along with our own things."
A second person concurred, suggesting to the pair: "I would get a small curio cabinet and display all of these in the house somewhere. That would be so awesome to have little bits of history from my house as keepsakes."
A third declared: "Absolute treasures! And imagine the old owners having no idea that all of these strangers 100 years later fascinated by this."
Meanwhile, a fourth TikTok user mused: "Adding back to some of this cool original stuff would be a great idea too, and maybe a letter about your finds. Maybe over time add some newspaper clippings from this day and age?"
