Team India defeated New Zealand badly in the T20 series in a very one-sided manner. In the third match of the series in Guwahati, the Indian team defeated New Zealand by 8 wickets on the basis of the lethal bowling of Jasprit Bumrah and then the indiscriminate batting of Abhishek Sharma. With this, Team India won the trophy by taking a 3-0 lead in the 5-match series. In this match, New Zealand, batting first, scored only 153 runs, the reason for which was Jasprit Bumrah, who took 3 wickets as soon as he returned to the team.
