There is good news for Indian passport holders in the year 2026. Now Indian citizens can travel to countries like Malaysia and Kazakhstan without visa. This facility has been given to promote tourists and make travel easier. India’s ranking in Henley Passport Index has also improved to 80th position.
How long is visa free entry in Malaysia?
The Government of Malaysia has extended the facility of visa-free entry for Indian citizens till 31 December 2026. Under this you can stay there for 30 days. This facility is for tourism only and does not permit study or employment. It has been made mandatory for passengers to fill the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online at least 3 days before the flight.
Rules for traveling in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan has also allowed visa-free stay for Indians for 14 days. If you are a frequent visitor, you can stay without a visa for a total of 42 days within 180 days. This facility is being provided for tourism and small business trips. No visa fee will be charged for this.
