BEL Apprentice 2026: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has released a recruitment notification for apprenticeship training for the year 2025-26. This recruitment will be conducted at the BEL unit located in Chennai. A total of 99 positions are to be filled. Under this recruitment, ITI, Diploma, Engineering Graduate, and B.Com, BBA, BBM pass candidates will be provided one year of apprenticeship training. The selection process will be conducted through a walk-in interview.

Walk-in Dates and Required Documents
The walk-in selection for ITI, Diploma, and Commerce apprentices will begin on February 5, 2026, while the selection process for Engineering Graduates will be held on February 6 and 7, 2026. All candidates are required to bring their original certificates, Aadhaar card, educational documents, and apprenticeship registration details.

BEL has announced a walk-in selection for a total of 15 apprenticeship positions for ITI pass candidates. This includes Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, and Electrician trades. Selected candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 11,040 per month, and the training period will be one year.
Only candidates from Tamil Nadu are eligible for the ITI apprenticeship. The maximum age of the candidates should be 21 years as of January 1, 2026, while age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per rules. Only candidates who have passed the ITI examination after January 1, 2021, are eligible to apply. Graduate, Diploma, and Commerce Apprentices: 84 Posts
BEL has announced a total of 84 apprenticeship positions for Graduate, Diploma, and Commerce streams. This includes BE/B. Tech, Diploma (ECE, Mechanical), and B.Com, BBA, BBM candidates.
Graduate apprentices will receive a stipend of Rs. 17,500 per month, while Diploma and Commerce apprentices will receive Rs. 12,500 per month. The maximum age limit for candidates is 25 years. This recruitment is only for candidates from the South Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and Puducherry.
Selection Process
Selection for both recruitments will be based on the candidates' academic scores. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official BEL website.
After completing the apprenticeship, eligible candidates may also get an opportunity for advanced training or selection as a Trainee Engineer, which will offer a significantly higher stipend and salary.
