Under this recruitment process, a total of 987 sanctioned posts have been allocated, divided into two categories: Special Educator TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) with 493 posts and Special Educator PRT (Primary Teacher) with 494 posts. This means that almost an equal number of appointments will be made at both TGT and PRT levels. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has provisionally distributed these 987 posts across different states and regions of the country. This distribution has been determined based on the needs, student population, and demands received from the regional offices.
