Railway Cancelled Train News: Millions of people travel by train every day in the country, but sometimes train operations are affected due to railway maintenance work. An important update has emerged from this state.

Railway Cancelled Train News: Every day, millions of people in India travel by train for work, studies, medical treatment, and to visit family and friends. The railway is considered the lifeline of the country, but sometimes passengers have to change their plans due to development work. A similar update has come from the South Eastern Railway. Extensive development work is being carried out in the Ranchi and Chakradharpur railway divisions to improve passenger facilities and the railway infrastructure.

Due to this work, the operation of some trains connected to Tatanagar has been affected. The railway administration has informed that a total of 5 passenger and MEMU trains running on this route have been temporarily cancelled. The railway has appealed to passengers to check the status of their train before traveling to avoid last-minute inconvenience. They have also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.

Ranchi Railway Division Cancelled Trains

Due to ongoing development work in the Ranchi division of the South Eastern Railway, some trains have been cancelled by the railway. These include train number 58659 Hatia–Rourkela Passenger, which will remain cancelled from February 1, 2026, to February 4, 2026.  Train number 58660 Rourkela–Hatia Passenger will be cancelled from February 2, 2026, to February 5, 2026. Train number 18175/18176 Hatia–Jharsuguda–Hatia MEMU will be cancelled from February 1, 2026, to February 4, 2026. The cancellation of these trains will affect passengers traveling between Jharkhand and Odisha. Chakradharpur Railway Division Train Cancellations

Development work is also being carried out in the Chakradharpur Railway Division, in addition to the Ranchi Railway Division. Due to this, two main MEMU trains originating from Tatanagar have been cancelled. These include train number 68131/68132 Tatanagar–Barampahar–Tatanagar MEMU and train number 68133/68134 Tatanagar–Barampahar–Tatanagar MEMU.

No Impact on Other Trains

According to information received from the railways, apart from the cancelled trains mentioned above, all Express and Mail trains passing through Tatanagar will run on their scheduled time. Passengers planning to travel during this period are advised to check their train status beforehand to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
