New Delhi. India is celebrating its 77th Republic Day today. The constitution that came into force on 26 January 1950 (Our 77th Republic Day) had seen the dream of a strong and equal India, that dream seems to be coming true in the form of Digital India in the year 2026. Today’s celebration is not limited to just the Rajpath Parade, but is a celebration of the digital revolution which has completely changed the everyday life of the common Indian.
Once entangled in cash, forms, lines and files, India is today moving ahead with the help of one click, one app and one digital identity. At the center of this change are India’s four most powerful digital platforms (BHIM-UPI), (Aadhaar), (DigiLocker) and (UMANG). These are not just government apps, but they are digital weapons that have directly empowered the citizens.

Aadhaar has eliminated the leakages in government schemes to a great extent.
