People are urging a woman not to eat a slice of sourdough she was given by a friend due to where it came from. More and more people have started making their own bread, with a huge rise in people keeping sourdough starters and sharing their creations online.

One person who has also taken up the sourdough bread making hobby is Taylor Swift, with her not being able to stop talking about bread during her interviews following the release of The Life of a Showgirl at the end of last year.

When she sat down on her now fiancé's podcast, New Heights, she explained how she talks about bread around 60 percent of the time. She also spoke about making pop tarts for her nieces and gifting bread to her celebrity friends with cute notes such as "the life of a dough girl", "it's a loaf story" and "the fate of doughphelia".

She was even spotted gifting bread to her friends at Este Haim's wedding, including to the new bride and her siblings, Danielle and Alana. She also reportedly gifted a loaf to singer Shane Michael Boose, known professionally as Sombr.

On Friday night, the celebrities were seen leaving the Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles holding their bread, which was packaged beautifully.

But I'm sure one thing Taylor Swift did not anticipate was her bread being gifted from the recipient, to somebody they know in a tiny zip lock bag.

That's exactly what happened to Nat Bosu, a woman living in New York, who claims to have been gifted a slice of Taylor Swift's sourdough due to having "friends in high places".

She said: "I have a piece of Taylor Swift's sourdough. You don't have to believe me, I know it's Taylor Swift's sourdough. I cannot reveal my source, but let's just say I have friends in high places.

"Mind you, I've been gluten-free for like 10 years, but like if a piece of Taylor Swift's sourdough comes across my desk, I'm gonna eat it.

"Here's the piece, I'm gonna put it in the toaster. I only want like a little bit, but I feel like maybe I should like freeze some and save it for like when I need like, a little extra whimsy in my life."

After putting a tiny amount of the bread in the toaster, she complimented Taylor on the flakiness of the crust and how doughy the bread was.

She said: "Mm, wow. That is like some remarkably good bread. I'm nuts, I should have put butter on it."

People in Nat's comments section could not believe she was eating the bread, with many people urging her to freeze it "forever".

One person said: "I fear I’d freeze it and save it forever."

A second added: "I’ve never been so happy for a stranger."

A third said: "This feels illegal to watch."
