Fire Breakout: A tragic accident took place in West Bengal on Republic Day. Three people have died due to fire here. The incident took place in Anandpur area of the capital Kolkata. A fire broke out in a Momo factory and decorator warehouse in Anandpur on the intervening night of Sunday-Monday, which gradually became worse by Monday morning. Even after 11 hours of effort the fire could not be completely extinguished.
According to media reports, all three deceased were security personnel. Many security personnel are still missing. According to local people, no information has been received about six people till now. However, the fire brigade and police have not yet given any official information about the missing people.

According to media reports, a fire suddenly broke out in the factory at around 3 o’clock on the intervening night of Sunday-Monday. Flames started rising. The huge amount of palm oil and gas cylinders present inside the factory added fuel to the fire, due to which the fire broke out with explosions. 12 fire engines and hydraulic ladders are extinguishing the fire on the spot. But rescue operations are facing difficulties due to narrow streets and heavy smoke.
CMO also became active
Minister Arup Viswas has also reached the spot. The Chief Minister’s Office i.e. CMO is keeping an eye on the entire incident. Police are investigating allegations of locks being locked from outside. A case of culpable homicide has been registered against the factory owners in this case. CCTV cameras and forensic team are searching for missing people trapped under the debris.
