ThePremier Leaguehas seen its fair share of managerial casualties this season. Nuno Espirito Santo became the first victim back in September as he was sacked by Nottingham Forest.

Graham Potter, Ange Postecoglou and Vitor Pereira then very quickly found themselves out of work as the first-half of the season progressed.

The Premier League’s big boys have also not been afraid to get involved in the dugout drama. Ruben Amorim and Enzo Maresca were both moved on within days of each other earlier this month by Manchester United and Chelsea respectively.

So with just over a third of the season still to play, it would not be unreasonable to suggest that some more managers could eventually find themselves without a job. Take a look at those under the most threat:

Let’s get the obvious ones out of the way first. Mikel Arteta has Arsenal stationed at the top of the Premier League and is unlikely to go anywhere, while Pep Guardiola will still be the one to decide when he leaves Manchester City.

Unai Emery is doing a terrific job with Aston Villa so it appears almost impossible that he will be going anywhere soon. Regis Le Bris has also enjoyed a brilliant first season in the Premier League so it would be a huge shock to see Sunderland opt for a change.

Keith Andrews has silenced his pre-season doubters and doing a fine job with Brentford. Meanwhile, Michael Carrick and Liam Rosenior have only just been appointed by Manchester United and Chelsea respectively.

When it comes to those in mid-table, Marco Silva has Fulham sitting seventh in the Premier League so a sacking looks far off. David Moyes, Fabian Hurzeler and Andoni Iraola are all doing more than respectable jobs so look set to stay in work for a bit longer.

That’s the boring bit out of the way, let’s look at some managers who could be in some real danger with a downturn in results. Arne Slot is the most obvious one, with the Dutchman having led Liverpool to a miserable title defence.

Saturday’s late defeat to Bournemouth has left the Dutchman on somewhat uneasy ground. Is he one defeat away from the sack? Probably not but he needs to get a consistent run together soon.

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe will also be hoping that he can get the same. It feels somewhat harsh on the former Bournemouth man but the club's owners will be expecting Champions League football next season and ninth in the league will not be good enough.

Daniel Farke is also among the group of managers who will nervously be looking over his shoulder. The German appears to have steered Leeds away from choppy waters but another miserable run could put him in serious trouble.

Sean Dyche will be feeling somewhat similar, with Forest sitting just five points above the relegation zone.

Speaking of which, it feels as though each of Nuno Espirito Santo, Rob Edwards nor Scott Parker are in any immediate danger, particularly in the case of the West Ham boss. But a run of defeats could put their jobs in jeopardy.

And then we move onto the managers under real pressure, Thomas Frank immediately comes to mind. The Dane arrived at Spurs in the summer but has endured a dismal stint so far.

The North London side sit 14th and just eight points above the relegation zone. Fans also appear to have turned on Frank so it would not be a surprise to see his time at Tottenham ended sooner rather than later.

Oliver Glasner might have already confirmed that he will be leaving Crystal Palace but it would not be a surprise to see him depart before then. The Austrian has been taking aim at club chiefs following the sale of Marc Guehi, while the Eagles have not won in the Premier League for nearly two months.
