New Delhi. T20 World Cup is going to start from 7th February. Bangladesh is already out of this World Cup. Bangladesh Cricket Board had decided to boycott the World Cup, after which ICC invited Scotland to play the World Cup. Scotland has accepted the invitation and has started preparing to play the World Cup. Pakistan’s team has also been announced for the World Cup, but there is still doubt over their playing. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has given a shocking statement. He has clearly said that the announcement of the team should not be seen as a confirmation of participation in the World Cup. If Pakistan does not participate in the World Cup, then ICC will give a chance to Ugandan team in its place.

Pakistan’s team for the T-20 World Cup has been announced. Recently, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with the selected players of Pakistan in a closed room. In the meeting, Naqvi informed all the players about the role of the government and the current stance of the PCB. After the discussion in Lahore, Naqvi told head coach Mike Hesson that we are waiting for the government’s advice. Whatever decision the government takes, we will have to follow it. If the government doesn’t want us to participate in the World Cup, we won’t.

Let us tell you that Bangladesh had refused to come to India expressing concern about the safety of its team. After this, ICC has made Scotland a part of the World Cup by excluding Bangladesh. Pakistan has termed this decision of ICC as wrong. According to sources, Pakistani players have supported the government and PCB on this issue. The players have also reportedly said that whatever decision the government and PCB take, the team will stand by that decision. It is expected that Pakistan will announce its final decision on the entire matter by Monday evening.
