Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday honored artists from different states at his official residence in the capital Lucknow on the occasion of 77th Republic Day. These artists came from different states of the country and gave beautiful presentations of their respective folk art, folk dance and cultural traditions.
Chief Minister Yogi said that through their beautiful presentations, these artists presented India’s rich cultural heritage, folk traditions and the spirit of national unity in a living form. Their art practice further deepens the feeling of ‘Ek Bharat – Shrestha Bharat’. He heartily congratulated all the participating artists in the program on Republic Day and wished them a bright future.
Let us inform that during the program, the Chief Minister also personally interacted with the artists, praised their presentations and also invited them to visit the historical and cultural places of Uttar Pradesh. The artists expressed happiness after meeting the Chief Minister, expressed their gratitude to him and praised his good governance.
Artists will be taken on Ayodhya tour
Let us inform that during the dialogue, the Chief Minister was telling about the tourist places of the state. During this discussion, he said that if every group of artists gets a chance to come to UP, then they must visit some tourist places here, so that they can get information about the culture of the state. Then a group expressed their desire to go to Ayodhya. In the immediate program, the Chief Minister directed the officials to make complete arrangements for the travel of any artist who wants to go to Ayodhya.
261 artists were honored in the program
Let us tell you that 261 artists from 18 art groups from a total of 10 states including UP were honored in the program. These included artists from West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Sikkim and Tripura.
