Last week, Brooklyn Beckham’s explosive Instagram statement shocked the world, as he claimed his parents Victoria, 51, and David, 50, had “controlled narratives” in the press and tried to “ruin” his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz – adding that Victoria had even “hijacked” their wedding dance.
Now, a source has told new stunned Victoria is “on her knees” in the aftermath. “Victoria is beside herself,” claimed our source. “It’s the word ‘inappropriately’, which Brooklyn used to describe her dancing at his and Nicola’s wedding. It has really hurt her.
“The whole thing has been like a big nuclear bomb going off and they just can’t believe he’s done it.”

While our source believes Brooklyn’s statement could test David and Victoria, we’re told the mum-of-four is determined
to weather the storm.
"This is putting a strain on them, but Victoria has told David she won’t let this destroy them,” claimed the source. “This is the biggest test they’ve ever had, but they will survive it because they are strong.”
Last week, in a six-slide post, Brooklyn, 26, claimed he has been “controlled by a family that values public promotion above all else” and accused his parents of “trying endlessly” to wreck
his and his wife’s relationship.
He accused Victoria of leaving 31-year-old Nicola – who he wed in 2022 – without a wedding dress at “the eleventh hour” and said that by moving to the US he had finally found “peace and relief” after years of crippling anxiety.
But his allegation that Victoria “hijacked” his first dance and then “danced very inappropriately on me” is said to be the
claim that’s affected her the most.
“Victoria is absolutely broken and devastated,” claimed our source. She is highly embarrassed and doesn’t know how to face the public.”
On Friday, legendary DJ Fat Tony, who performed at the Peltz-Beckham wedding, told This Morning viewers it was the timing that was inappropriate, not Victoria’s moves.
“There was no slut-dropping, there was no black PVC catsuit, there was no Spice Girl action,” he said. “Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto the stage. Everyone was expecting it to be Nicola to go up and do the first dance.”
Tony then said that Marc asked the “most beautiful woman in the room” to come to the stage, but called out Victoria’s name instead of bride Nicola’s.
“Brooklyn was literally devastated because he thought he was about to get his first dance with his wife,” Tony, 60, continued. “Then Nicola leaves the room crying her eyes out and Brooklyn’s stuck there on stage.
“Then they do this dance and Marc Anthony’s like, ‘Put your hands on your mother’s hips’ – and it was a Latin thing. The whole situation was really awkward for everyone.”
David and Victoria are no strangers to battling private controversy made public. In 2004, their world was rocked after David’s then-assistant, Rebecca Loos, now 48, claimed they had an affair.
Despite the Dutch model giving a tell-all interview to Sky News, the former footballer branded her claims “ludicrous”.
Victoria remained tight-lipped about the alleged affair until the release of David’s 2023 Netflix docuseries, Beckham, when she opened up about the scandal for the first time, describing it as “the hardest period” of her life.
Just last year, she addressed how she and David handle speculation about their marriage, telling the Call Her Daddy podcast, “We’ve had so much thrown at us and we’ve always just been there together and just ridden the storm.”
Last week, Rebecca responded to Brooklyn’s Instagram post, saying, “So happy he is standing up for himself and speaking publicly finally!!!! I have felt so bad for his poor wife, knowing too well what they can be like!”
While Posh and Becks are
no doubt reeling in the aftermath of the allegations, our source believes they’ll remain strong.
“They’re trying to keep it together for the rest of their kids,” said the source. “They have weathered other storms and they will weather this one.”
