'Anupamaa’ begins on a dramatic note with Rahi and Mahi calling Anupama out for her actions. They ask their mother why she refuses to save the house and tell her to choose between being a mother and being a person.

The trio continued to argue as Prem also intervenes and sides with his mother-in-law. This prompts him and Rahi to have an argument about the matter. Anupama still tries to make them understand why she is doing all of this. The scene momentarily shifts to the Shah house, where Paritosh and Pari celebrate Parag’s downfall.

Motiba attempts to make Parag move forward with the projectAt the Kothari house, Parag meets up with a businessman to consult him about how they can save the house. Parag says that he will sell everything else he has in order to save the house because of the project. While the businessman says that it may be possible, he tells him not to get his hopes up.

Motiba, on the other hand, is preparing convince Parag not to drop the project, worried that they may lose the house because of his morals. She refuses to touch any piece of jewellery, insisting that Parag’s decision will take them all down with him.

The Shahs support AnupamaThe Shahs tell Anupama to return to Mumbai and fight the case and win it no matter what. As Anupama apologizes to Prarthana for not being able to care for her, she reassures her that she is okay and that she understands that Anupama has to put the chawl people first because of Rajni’s actions.

On the other side, Mita packs all of her bags and is ready to leave the Kothari mansion. Khyati and Rahi spot her before she can leave and try to stop her. However, Mita starts arguing with them and blames Rahi for Anupama’s actions. Mita leaves for her parents’ home anyway. Khyati tells Rahi to be proud of her mother, and adds that she is not at fault as Parag had already made his decision long before she came over on her request.

Rajni attempts to bribe AnupamaIn another scene, Anupama, who is walking with a lot of papers in her hand, slips on the road and her papers scatter all over the place. As she tries to pick all of them up, Rajni arrives and helps her. She first taunts Anupama for helping people who hate her to the core and then tries to bribe her by saying that she will give her a lavish home in Dubai if she agrees to back away from the redevelopment project and lets it go forward as planned.

Anupama rejects all of her advances and says that she will continue her fight no matter what. She then goes to a lawyer to get a consultation, who looks through her files and tells her to drop it as the case is too weak. He points out that there is no way to prove that Rajni tricked Anupama into signing over the papers. When all else fails, Anupama goes to the media and publicly asks Rajni not to destroy the chawl. She also rallies in front of Rajni’s home.

The next episode promo shows Rajni’s men setting fire to Anupama’s home. The chawl members are unable to put the fire out. As Anupama arrives in shock, Rahi reveals that Prerna is inside. Anupama wraps her head with her pallu and rushes into the burning building to save her. Rajni is unaware that her daughter is in the burning building, while her men watch the scene in shock as they find out the truth.
