Singapore. Singapore’s Ministry of Health and the Singapore Medical Council today announced the recognition of eight foreign medical colleges. Among them is Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, affiliated to Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. This information was given in a joint statement issued by the Ministry and the Council on Tuesday.
Singapore’s Health Ministry and Singapore Medical Council said that from February 01, eight medical colleges outside the country (1) College of Health of Adelaide University of Australia, (2) India’s Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, (3) Ireland’s University of Galway, School of Medicine, (4) Malaysia University Science Malaysia, School of Medical Sciences, (5) Pakistan’s The Aga Khan University Medical College, (6) People’s Republic of China, (7) Tsinghua University, School of Medicine and (8) City St. George’s, University of London, School of Medicine.
