Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt marked India’s Republic Day with a tender, family moment, sharing a photograph of the national flag crafted by her daughter, Raha Kapoor.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Alia posted the image of the handmade tricolour and wrote “Happy Republic Day,” accompanied by the Indian flag and folded-hands emojis. The post quickly resonated with fans, who praised the understated gesture and the focus on passing patriotic values to the next generation.
Film fraternity joins the greetings
Several prominent figures from Indian cinema also took to social media to extend Republic Day wishes. Veteran actor Kamal Haasan reflected on the spirit of the Constitution, highlighting diversity, federalism and democratic values as the Republic’s enduring strength.
Actor Akshay Kumar shared a message in Hindi, urging Indians to say with pride that they are Indians, ending with “Jai Hind” and “Jai Bharat.” Suniel Shetty wrote about the responsibility that comes with freedom, while megastar Chiranjeevi called on citizens to honour the Constitution and stand united for a stronger, progressive India.
Actors Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Hrithik Roshan, among others, also shared messages celebrating the 77th Republic Day.
