Parenting Tips: Parents' words have a profound impact on their children's lives. Even small things parents say can have a big effect. Parenting coach Sandeep shared a post on this topic on his Instagram handle. In this post, he advises parents to ask their children six questions every night before bed. Sandeep says that if parents take 5-10 minutes each day to ask their children these questions, it will deepen their bond. Not only that, these questions will make your child emotionally stronger and boost their self-confidence. Let's learn more about them:

Ask your child these 6 questions before bed:
Number 1: What made you happiest today?
This question teaches the child to recognize small joys. The child understands that happiness doesn't always come from big things, but also from small, positive experiences. This makes the child's thinking more positive, and they start to be happier.

Number 2: Did you face any difficulties at school or during the day?

If yes, how did you handle them?
This helps the child learn to face challenges. They understand that making mistakes or facing problems is not wrong, but learning from them is important. This increases their self-confidence and problem-solving abilities.

Number 3: Did anyone help you today, or did you help someone?
This question instills good qualities like kindness and empathy in the child. The child learns that both giving and receiving help and expressing gratitude are very important.

Number 4: What was something you didn't like today?
This helps the child learn to express their negative emotions openly instead of suppressing them. They don't feel fear or pressure and can honestly express their feelings.

Number 5: What are you proud of yourself for today?
This question increases the child's self-esteem. They recognize their good habits and achievements and learn to value themselves.

Number 6: What are your plans for tomorrow?

What good things do you want to do tomorrow? This question helps children develop the habit of planning. They think about their future and understand their responsibilities.

These simple questions make everyday conversations very special. The child feels that their parents truly listen to and understand them. This strengthens the relationship, and the child becomes emotionally intelligent and happy. You too can take 5-10 minutes each day to ask your child these questions.
