News India Live, Digital Desk: Getting a visa to Japan is a big deal for any Indian citizen, because Japan is counted among the most powerful passports in the world. But do you know that a valid Japan visa not only opens the doors of Japan for you, but also simplifies or completely eliminates the visa requirements of about 42 other countries in the world? Yes! Japan visa is no less than a ‘master-key’, which makes traveling to many amazing places extremely simple. What is the ‘superpower’ of Japan visa? In fact, many countries believe that if Japan has given you a visa, it means that you are a trustworthy and safe traveller. That is why they allow Indian citizens who have a valid Japanese visa to enter their countries without obtaining a separate visa. This is simply called Visa-on-Arrival (VoA), Visa Waiver or Visa Free Entry. What are the countries you can visit? This list changes frequently, but some of the major and spectacular countries are given below (be sure to check the official information for changes in visa rules): South America: Colombia (with some conditions). Asia/Middle East: Philippines (with some conditions ), United Arab Emirates (UAE), Singapore (under VFTF with certain conditions). Balkans and Eastern Europe: Countries like Georgia, Albania, Romania and Bulgaria. (It often grants the same exemptions as the Schengen visa, so the full list of those countries is long.) How does this rule work? (Required Rules)To avail the visa exemption, you generally need to follow these conditions:Use Requirement: Many countries require that you have used the Japanese visa at least once (i.e. traveled to Japan).Limited stay: Visa-free entry is usually allowed only for a certain number of days (e.g. 30, 60 or 90 days). This rule is a huge advantage for Indians who are making only one international trip. But want to visit many countries, especially countries close to the Schengen Area and Balkan regions. So the next time you get a Japan visa, your next vacation is about to get even bigger!
