Instead of making puri made from wheat flour, you can make puri made from radish and rice. It is not only delicious in taste but is also very crispy and nutritious.   • Rice flour- 2 cups
  • Radish – 1 medium sized grated
  • Ginger-green chilli paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander – finely chopped
  • oregano
  • chilli powder
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • To fry and to mince

Know how to make radish and rice puri

  • First of all, wash and peel the radish thoroughly and grate it with a fine grater. Now take rice flour in a big vessel.
  • Then add grated radish, finely chopped coriander, ginger-chilli paste, celery, a little turmeric, red chilli and salt.
  • After this, add one teaspoon oil in it and mix it well. After kneading the dough, keep it covered for 5-10 minutes.
  • Now break the dough into small balls, apply some oil on a rolling pin and roll out small puris with light hands.
  • If the puris are bursting from the edges, you can cut them into rounds with the help of a bowl.
  • When the oil is well heated, add the puri and fry it on low flame until it becomes golden and crisp from both the sides.
  • Now serve hot radish and rice puris with green coriander chutney, mango pickle or curd.

Keep these things in mind while making puri

  • Radish releases a lot of water after grating. Therefore, before adding water to the flour, mix the radish and spices well.
  • Always knead the dough lightly use of hot water Do it.
  • Do not roll the puris with force like wheat puris.
  • The oil should be well heated while frying.
