UP Weather Forecast: The weather in Uttar Pradesh has also seen a significant change since Tuesday morning. While dense fog covered many parts of the state in the early morning, there is now increased cloud cover. The cloud movement and wind speed have caused a drop in the minimum temperature.

This is leading to colder weather for the people. There will be no significant change in the maximum temperature within the next 24 hours. However, a drop of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius is expected. The minimum temperature is expected to remain low for 72 hours.

The cold weather is likely to return. Some parts of the state may also experience rain. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of thunderstorms and rain in several districts of Uttar Pradesh. Read below for detailed information on the weather in UP.

Possibility of Thunderstorms and Rain in Uttar Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, a rain warning has been issued for several districts of Uttar Pradesh. Given the possibility of hailstorms, people have been advised to avoid going out unless necessary. The IMD has indicated that the effects of fog and rain will be seen until January 29th.

The IMD has issued an alert for thunderstorms and rain in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Bijnor, and Moradabad on January 27th (today). According to the Meteorological Department, a rain alert has also been issued for Rampur, Bareilly, Agra, Aligarh, Mathura, Pilibhit, and Lakhimpur Kheri. Rain is also possible in Bahraich, Bulandshahr, Firozabad, Etawah, Mainpuri, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and Mahoba.

Hamirpur, Shravasti, Gonda, Balrampur, Barabanki, Raebareli, Fatehpur, Banda, Kanpur, and Auraiya may experience light rain with strong winds. Besides these, sunny weather is expected in Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Gorakhpur, and Azamgarh.

What will the weather be like in Lucknow?

According to the IMD, the capital city of Lucknow is likely to experience cloudy skies today, Tuesday. Light fog is expected after 24 hours. The minimum temperature in Lucknow is expected to be 13 degrees Celsius, and the maximum 24 degrees Celsius.

A drop in temperature is expected in the next 24 hours. In Noida, which is adjacent to Delhi, cloudy conditions are also expected today. The minimum temperature there is likely to be 12 degrees Celsius and the maximum 19 degrees Celsius.
