India women will play five T20Is in South Africa as preparation for the 2026 T20 World Cup in April. The series will be split across three venues — Durban, Johannesburg and Benoni — from April 17 onwards.
The series will serve as the Proteas’ final official series ahead of the T20 showstopper that is scheduled to take place in England in June.
The first two of the five T20Is will be played in Durban on April 17 and 19 before the series moves to Johannesburg. The venue will play host to the third and four games of the series on April 22 and 25 respectively, before closing at Benoni on April 27.
India and South Africa have both been drawn into the same group at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, where they will be joined by Australia, Pakistan, and two qualifiers.
