The Ayushman Card provides free medical treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh to needy people. This card is a boon for those in need. If you want to apply for or create an Ayushman Card, you don't need to go anywhere. You can complete this process from the comfort of your home.

What documents are required?
For the Ayushman Card, you will need:

Aadhaar Card

Ration Card

Income Proof and Labour Registration Certificate (BoWC)

A mobile number linked to your Aadhaar

How to create the card through the Ayushman App?
After downloading the app, you will need to log in.
While logging in, select "Login as Beneficiary," then enter the captcha code and your mobile number.
An OTP will be sent to your mobile number; enter it.
After this, a form will open.  Enter PMJAY in the Scheme and Sub-Scheme fields and your state name.
Then, in the "Search By" option, you will need to enter your Aadhaar number, Family ID, or Ration Card number.
After that, enter the captcha code and check your eligibility. You can only create the card under the scheme if you are eligible.
Then, complete the e-KYC process, and you can download the PDF of your card.
This way, you can easily create your Ayushman Card at home.

What are the benefits of the Ayushman Card?
This scheme includes 3 days of pre-hospitalization and 15 days of post-hospitalization.
All tests are included under this scheme.
The cost of medicines is also covered.
Food and beverages during hospitalization are also covered under the insurance.
However, there are some limitations regarding eligibility.

Who will not receive the benefits of the card?
The Ayushman Card was specifically launched for poor and needy people. People working in the organized sector or those who pay their taxes on time will not be able to avail themselves of the benefits of this card.
