Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Varun Dhawan is one of the most popular actors in the industry who is known for his chocolate boy look, humour timings and is often touted to be a romantic hero of Bollywood.

However, the handsome hunk chose to flip the coin in 2026 with his first release the year. We are talking about Border 2 which presented Varun in a never seen before avatar. Yes! Varun Dhawan was seen playing the role of an Indian Army soldier and his performance has left everyone spell bound in this Anurag Singh directorial For the uninitiated, Border 2 is the much awaited sequel to the 1997 Border andhas been one of the most talked about release of the year. Co-produced by JP Dutta, Border 2 came with a stellar cast of Varun, Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa and Medha Rana. To note, Border 2 is based on the 1971 war between India and Pakistan and salutes the bravery of Indian Army, Air Force and Navy. Interestingly, Border 2 was released on January 23, 2026 and opened to decent reviews following which it took over the box office with a storm. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 earned Rs 20cr on day 5 which took the total collections of the movie to Rs 200cr

Border 2 vs Dhurandhar 5 Days Collection Interestingly, with a total collection of Rs 200cr, Border 2 has managed to surpass the lifetime collection of Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 which happens to be Rs 173Cr. On the other hand, as Border 2 has been witnessing frequent comparison with Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar, the war drama has managed to fail the latter in terms of 5 days collection. For the uninitiated, Dhurandhar had managed to earn Rs 153.25cr in its 5 days of release.

Meanwhile, Border 2 has also entered the coveted Rs 200cr club at the worldwide box office in days and it is eyeing to touch Rs 300cr within a week.
