How to create an ABHA Health ID in India?

1. Creating an ABHA ID is very easy. You can create it in just a few minutes. First, go to the website healthid.ndhm.gov.in.

2. Select the option to generate via Aadhaar.

3. Enter your Aadhaar number.

4. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.

5. Enter the OTP and create a unique ABHA address for yourself.

6. This will become your digital health ID. After this, you can download your ABHA card.

Will the ABHA ID work abroad?

The ABHA ID is currently designed for India's digital health system. It cannot be used directly for treatment abroad. However, if you want to show your medical records to a hospital outside India, you can share it with the doctor or hospital in PDF or digital form. It can serve as a means of sharing international medical records, but it cannot be used directly within foreign healthcare systems.
