It is being said that this is its biggest one day collection till date. First week’s earnings raised expectations

“Border 2” has got full benefit of the release date chosen by the makers of the film. It has earned Rs 30 crore on the first day itself. Later, its earnings increased further due to the weekend. On Saturday, the film earned Rs 36.5 crore and on Sunday this figure touched Rs 54.5 crore. After Monday’s earnings, “Border 2” has earned Rs 177 crore. It is being said that this film can earn Rs 200 crore in the first week of its release.

Actually, a crowd of people has gathered in the theater to watch the film. 54 percent people came to watch “Border 2” in Hindi dominated areas. The morning show was 40 percent full and the evening show was 80 percent. This shows that the film is benefiting a lot due to word of mouth publicity.

The impact of the film was not limited to the Indian box office only. ‘Border 2’ is being liked a lot in foreign countries also. In just four days of the film’s release, “Border 2” has collected a total of around Rs 239 crore worldwide. Out of this, contribution of about Rs 27 crore has come from overseas markets.

Comparison with ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Pathan’

After the great start of this film, it is naturally being compared with Sunny Deol’s previous superhit film ‘Gadar 2’. ‘Gadar 2’ had earned around Rs 285 crore in the first week of its release. If compared to that, “Border 2” is still lagging behind, but considering its strong pace, this figure may increase further in the future. Talking about the films released on Republic Day, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ is still ahead in this matter, which had registered a collection of more than Rs 70 crore on this special day.
