Not only this, the option to link Aadhaar of up to five family members from the same account is also given in the Profile section, which makes it easier to manage the Aadhaar of the entire family.
End of compulsion to share Aadhaar number for identification
The feature of offline Aadhaar verification has been provided in the app, through which identity can be proved without revealing the Aadhaar number. Through the Selective Share option, users can decide what to share with the other person including name, photo, age, address or mobile number. Identity verification becomes even faster with the QR code scan feature.
Special emphasis on security, facility of biometric lock
UIDAI has kept security at the top in the new Aadhaar App. It has a biometric lock feature, through which fingerprint, face and iris data can be locked.
