Director Anurag Singh responds to ‘Border 2’ lighting issues

Border 2 is smashing box office, pouring love but some fans are facing the dim lighting in the film’s climactic battle sequences.

The director, Anurag Singh, has taken the matter in to immediate consideration as he addressed the concern.

“The climax is not meant to be dark,” the director explained. “It is set in the evening, but I think due to projection issues, it feels darker in some cinemas. In most theatres, it appears fine.”

Anurag confirmed that fixes are underway, already as they have shared corrective measures with the theatres and hopes to get them fixed in its earliest.

“We have sent out a mail to all theatres explaining how to address this issue,” he said. “Additionally, we are updating the print in theatres where the climax is appearing darker than intended.”

With that said, the director also looked back at the challenges of building a large-scale action set.

“Action is always tough to shoot,” Anurag confronted. “And action in a period war film is even more challenging.”

He noted that trench warfare and tank sequences are specifically more demanding than others.

“But like I said, I enjoy a good challenge,” the director stated.
