After that, you will have to enter the requested details, including EPIC, date of birth, and district, and then submit. If your name does not appear after this, you will have to start the further process.
How to become a voter again?
The Election Commission has started the claims and objections process. With its help, you can get your name added back to the voter list if your name has been removed by mistake. Let's find out what you need to do.
If you are a new voter or your name has been removed from the voter list, you will have to fill out Form 6.
Form 7 is to be filled out when the name of a deceased person is included in the voter list, or if a person no longer lives in that area but their name is still on the list. Form 7 is used to register an objection against such incorrect names and get them removed.
If your name is in the voter list, but there is any mistake in your name, address, or spelling, you will have to fill out Form 8 to get it corrected.
Note that you can fill these forms in both online and offline modes. For the online mode, you will have to visit the official website voters.eci.gov.in. For offline registration, you will need to fill out a form and submit it to the Booth Level Officer (BLO).
