Mo Soo Jin, the lead vocalist of South Korean musical group Acoustic Collabo, passed away at the age of 27, with the cause of death not disclosed by her family.
On Tuesday, a representative of Acoustic Collabo announced that Mo had died on Jan. 25, local newspaper ONSEN reported.

The source said her family was deeply affected by the sudden loss and requested that the cause of her death and other details not be disclosed. They also asked the public to avoid speculation and rumors.
The funeral will be held privately, with attendance limited to family members, relatives and close friends, in accordance with the family’s wishes.
Mo was a former idol trainee before joining Acoustic Collabo in 2019 as the lead vocalist alongside Kim Seung Jae.
Acoustic Collabo began as a solo project by Kim Seung Jae before vocalists Ahn Da Eun, Kim Kyu Nyeon and Mo Soo Jin joined the lineup, according to Korea JoongAng Daily.
In 2022, the group was involved in a legal dispute with its former management company. After the dispute was resolved, the group returned in 2025 and signed an exclusive contract with the agency Panic Button.
Mo pursued a solo career on the side, releasing her single Your Universe in June 2025.
