The historic journey of ‘Joda Sahib’ from Delhi towards Patna Sahib, one of the highest pilgrimage sites of Sikhism, has started from 23 October 2025. This Yatra has been organized to take the pair of sacred Charan Padukas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji to their birthplace. This holy relic of Jora Sahib was kept safe in Karol Bagh in Delhi for almost 300 years and will now be displayed in Patna Sahib for the devotees. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and central government minister Hardeep Singh Puri will also participate in this yatra.
Starting from Moti Bagh Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi, this journey will cover a distance of about 1500 kilometers and will pass through many major cities of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on the way. During the yatra, city kirtan, bhajan-kirtan and public darshan will be organized, so that more and more devotees can have darshan of these holy relics. ‘Charan Suhave Guru Charan Yatra’ will reach Patna Sahib Gurudwara located in Patna, Bihar on 31 October 2025. This yatra is being organized for the first time, such a yatra was not organized before.

According to reports, these holy relics were kept safe with the family of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri in Delhi’s Karol Bagh for almost 300 years.
