A great perfume doesn’t have to break the bank, with many people now turning to affordable alternatives to their favourite designer fragrances. Whether you’re looking for an affordable gift to give this Valentine’s Day, or just want to find a fragrance you can wear all day, every day, Aldi’s range of scents have always gone down a storm with shoppers.

One that’s proven popular with every new release is the Je Suis Femma Eau de Parfum, which went viral for smelling almost identical to Lancôme’s La Vie est Belle Eau de Parfum. However, unlike the Lancôme perfume which costs £127 for 100ml, Aldi’s Je Suis Femma fragrance is just £6.99 for a 100ml bottle.

Aldi will be launching all of its Lacura fragrances in stores from today (January 29), with the Je Suis Femma being joined by Mon Amour, Gentleman and Power for Men, all for just £6.99 each. The fragrances have scents that rival Giorgio Armani, Paco Rabanne, and Jean Paul Gaultier for men and women, all whilst saving you hundreds of pounds.

Unlike previously, where the perfumes were stocked either in the middle aisle or near the toiletries section, this time around you’ll be able to find them at the front of the store, making it even easier to snap them up before they’re gone. Each fragrance comes in a 100ml bottle, so it’ll last you quite a while, and features very similar scents and ingredients to the pricier designer version.

Je Suis Femma, for example, has almost exactly the same notes as La Vie est Belle, blending blackcurrant and pear with more delicate scents like jasmine and orange blossom and finishing with patchouli and vanilla for a lingering scent If you did want to snap up the Lancôme La Vie est Belle, however, now is the time to do it, as it’s currently on sale at LookFantastic down from £127 to £95.25, saving you 25%.

LookFantastic has also slashed the price of some other similar-scented designer fragrances in its major sale. For example, the 100ml bottle of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum is now £114.75 down from £135, whilst the 80ml Prada Candy Eau de Parfum is now £90 down from £120.

However if you want to get your hands on similar scents for considerably less, heading to Aldi this week is a must. The Je Suis Femma fragrance is available for a limited time for £6.99.
