But as soon as Hera Pheri 3 was announced, confusion and controversies took over more than joy. Now, after a long time, Paresh Rawal has broken his silence on the whole matter.

Paresh Rawal has clearly said that he personally has nothing to do with this controversy. Whatever technological or legal issue there is, it’s between the producer and Akshay Kumar. He says that as soon as this matter is resolved, he will sign the film without any hesitation. And yes, he said with complete confidence, the film will be made, 100 per cent.

Now, what is most striking here is the mention of Babu Rao. Paresh Rawal honestly admitted that if Hera Pheri 3 is made without Babu Rao, it will be a complete disaster. This is not arrogance, but a truth that the audience also knows in their hearts. Babu Rao is not just a character; he is the soul of the film.

Let us remind you that Hera Pheri 3 was officially announced in 2022, but after some time, news came that Paresh Rawal had left the film. After this, Akshay Kumar filed a 25 crore lawsuit against him, which was termed as ‘unprofessional behaviour’. However, later, after both of them talked, the differences were resolved, and the case was also withdrawn.

In my opinion, handling a franchise like Hera Pheri is no joke. Here, the casting, the chemistry, and the characters, everything matters. And without Babu Rao, it just wouldn’t be Hera Pheri. Now, we can only hope that everything gets resolved soon and we can once again sit in the theatre and laugh in the same old way.
