Big update came out
Sources told Telecom Asia Sports that despite uncertainty over participation in the World Cup, the Pakistan team has booked a flight from Lahore to Colombo on an Air Lanka flight with the Australia team.
Apart from this, Naqvi had also taken advice from President Asif Zardari before meeting former PCB chairman Najam Sethi and Rameez Raja. He further said that both the former chiefs supported sending the team to Sri Lanka and also advised not to boycott the match against India.
Let us tell you that PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi had earlier said in his press conference that the government will decide on Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup. We are waiting for the government’s decision. On January 26, Naqvi met the Pakistani PM. However, it is not yet clear whether Pakistan will participate in the World Cup or will withdraw its name becoming a supporter of Bangladesh.
