According to The Standardthe 27-year-old singer has recently been seen driving a blue Suzuki Jimny four-wheel drive. The Japanese model retails for HK$200,000 (US$25,623) when new, or around HK$100,000 on the second-hand market.
Keung obtained his probationary driving license last year after taking just over 10 lessons and passing the driving test on his first attempt. Shortly afterwards, he was involved in a minor accident while driving his BMW iX, valued at around HK$600,000. The incident resulted in only light scratches to the vehicle, and Keung was not injured.
Friends said the experience prompted the singer to reconsider his choice of car, opting for something smaller and easier to handle as a relatively new driver. Sources added that he now mainly uses the Jimny for leisure and sports- outings, while keeping his BMW for future use when he feels more confident behind the wheel. For work- engagements, he typically travels in a vehicle arranged by his team.
“He wanted something practical that won’t cause as much worry if damaged again,” a source said, adding that the singer has been more cautious since the accident.
Keung rose to fame as a member of MIRROR, which was formed through ViuTV’s 2018 reality talent show “Good Night Show – King Maker.” He launched his solo music career in June 2019 and has since become one of Hong Kong’s most popular young singers.
A few months before the BMW accident last year, he was involved in another incident in which he fell into the sea while jogging, according to the South China Morning Post.
