Silver crossed Rs 4 lakh on Thursday.

Silver prices have created history. On January 29, silver crossed the level of Rs 4 lakh. Its price on Multi Commodity Exchange i.e. MCX reached Rs 4.20 lakh per kg. A month ago, till December 29, the price of silver was Rs 2.50 lakh per kg. Silver has given a return of 60% in prices in one month and about 280% in the last one year. In such a situation, the question arises whether silver is going to cross Rs 5 lakh?

Regarding the prices of silver, Anuj Gupta, Director of YA Wealth, said that the price of silver will definitely rise further. If this trend continues like this, then the price of silver can reach Rs 5 lakh per kg in the next 23 months. According to Anuj Gupta, America-Iran tension, Russia-Ukraine war and the ongoing tension between America and Europe are supporting the rising prices of silver. Demand for silver has increased due to increasing geopolitical tension and demand for safe investment. Apart from this, a rise in silver prices may also be seen due to industrial demand, rise in gold prices, strong holding by investors, shortage of supply and geopolitical tension.

Silver can cross Rs 7 lakh in 2 years

Canada's prestigious bank BMO Capital Markets has recently claimed that the prices of gold and silver could be beyond imagination in the next few years. By the end of 2027, the price of 10 grams of gold can reach around Rs 2.83 to Rs 3 lakh, while silver can go up to Rs 7.20 lakh per kg. Commodity analysts say that the world's geopolitical and financial order is changing rapidly. Due to this, investors are losing confidence in paper currency. In such an uncertain environment, investors are turning to gold and silver, which are considered safe havens, to keep their capital safe.
