The National Common Mobility Card scheme aims to provide passengers with the convenience of traveling on different transport systems with a single card. The Delhi Metro has now made all banks' NCMC cards valid across its network.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has taken a major step towards further improving passenger convenience. Under the Government of India's National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) initiative, NCMC cards from all banks are now accepted on the Delhi Metro network and the Airport Line. The aim is to integrate and simplify various transportation systems and retail payments across the country.
The goal: Travel across the country with a single card
The Government of India's National Common Mobility Card scheme aims to provide passengers with seamless travel across different transport systems using a single card. The Delhi Metro has adopted this initiative, making all banks' NCMC cards valid on its network, eliminating the need for passengers to obtain separate cards repeatedly.
Passengers advised to opt for NCMC cards
The Delhi Metro administration has appealed to passengers who wish to obtain new smart cards to prioritize NCMC or virtual smart cards. However, keeping passenger convenience in mind, DMRC's traditional smart cards will also remain available at metro stations.
Facility available across the entire network, including the Airport Line
This NCMC card facility has been implemented across the entire Delhi Metro network, including the Airport Line. This will provide passengers traveling to and from the airport with a cashless and seamless travel experience.
Contact us immediately in case of problems
If passengers encounter any problems related to the card or any other service, they can contact the senior officials present at the metro station. Complaints can also be registered on DMRC's 24-hour IVRS helpline number 155370.
An online complaint facility is also available
Passengers can also register their complaints on the DMRC's official website pcms.dmrc.org/careqr/. Sharing information such as the station name, date, time, and counter details while registering a complaint will facilitate faster resolution of the problem. The Delhi Metro administration has expressed regret to passengers for any inconvenience caused and assured them that continuous efforts are being made to provide passengers with a better, safer, and uninterrupted travel experience.
