Reliance Jio has taken a big step under the ‘AI for Everyone’ mission to connect the students studying in Uttarakhand with future technologies. Through this initiative, more than 3000 students and teachers have been given Artificial Intelligence (AI) training in more than 400 schools and colleges of the state.
Under this initiative of Jio, students and teachers were introduced to Google Gemini Pro, where they were given information about the practical use of AI in tasks like studying, making notes, writing assignments, coding, project ideas and interview preparation. Tools like NotebookLM and Gemini Live gave students a learning experience in their preferred language.
To connect students and youth with digital skills, Jio is offering Google Gemini Pro plan worth ₹35,100 to all its unlimited 5G users completely free for 18 months. This plan includes the latest Gemini 3 Pro models, including AI-based image generation tools Nano Banana Pro and video generation tools Veo 3.1, NotebookLM, and 2TB cloud storage. The plan can be activated through the MyJio app. Along with this, students can also complete a four-week free online ‘Jio AI Classroom’ course, which will give them a practical understanding of AI technologies.
