Raipur. Sirpur festival: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will attend as the chief guest on the occasion of Sirpur Mahotsav to be organized in the historical and cultural city of Sirpur. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will give a big gift of development to Sai district. He will inaugurate and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 99 development works costing a total of Rs 199 crore 28 lakh 59 thousand in the district. These include inauguration of 64 development works costing Rs 40 crore 88 lakh 2 thousand and bhoomi pujan of 35 development works costing Rs 158 crore 40 lakh 57 thousand.
The works to be inaugurated under the program include 4 development works of Rural Engineering Services Department costing Rs 98 lakh 80 thousand, 19 development works of Panchayat and Rural Development Department costing Rs 6 crore 64 lakh 20 thousand, 1 development work of Tribal Development Department costing Rs 1 crore 52 lakh 97 thousand, 26 development works of Public Health Engineering Department costing Rs 17 crore 95 lakh 86 thousand and Electricity Department. 14 development works costing Rs 13 crore 76 lakh 19 thousand are included.
Similarly, under Bhoomi Pujan, 22 development works will be done by the Public Works Department at a cost of Rs 141 crore 19 lakh 19 thousand, 3 development works by the Water Resources Department at a cost of Rs 10 crore 32 lakh 72 thousand, 8 development works by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department at a cost of Rs 2 crore 18 lakh 93 thousand and 2 development works by the Transport Department at a cost of Rs 4 crore 69 lakh 73 thousand.
