'Toxic' star Yash lauds 'Amruthanjan': 'Hope this encourages more creators and storytellers to dream big'

Yash is all praise for the recent Kannada release ‘Amruthanjan’. In a post shared on social media, the ‘Toxic’ actor applauded the creators of the film, which has not only inspired his fans, but also filmmakers.

Yash, who is known for keeping his complete focus on work, rarely endorses films. The actor only talks about the films that truly touch him as an audience or creator. On Thursday, January 29, Yash took to his Instagram handle to applaud the makers of ‘Amruthanjan’. In a story, the actor said, “To the Amrutanjan team… I’ve always enjoyed your work, and it’s great to see you dream big, put in the effort, and keep evolving. From creating content to backing your own film, this journey says a lot. Hope this encourages more creators and storytellers to dream big and never let anyone decide their limits. Wishing you all the very best for Amrutanjan.”

‘Amruthanjan’, which released on January 30, initially began as a short series. Its popularity reportedly led the makers to expand it into a full-length film. The comedy entertainer features players like Sudhakar Gowda R, Gowrav Shetty, Payal Chengappa, and Shree Bhavya. Jyothirao Mohit (JRM) is the director.



The makers of the film were delighted by Yash’s applause. Lead cast member Sudhakar Gowda called it ‘the biggest day of my life’. “Biggest day of my life. My inspiration, Rocking Star Yash sir, called and wished for Amrutanjan. Best part is he even said dialogue from the trailer,” he said.

What’s next for Yash?On the work front, Yash is currently awaiting the release of his next ‘Toxic’. The film is helmed by Geetu Mohandas. Starring Yash, the film also has Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Quresh, Tara Sutaria , and Rukmini Vasant in pivotal roles. The makers launched a glimpse of the film on Yash’s birthday, which was met with mixed reactions. The intimate scenes in the glimpse drew criticism. ‘Toxic’ is slated for release on March 19.
