According to trade website Koimoi, ‘Varanasi’ can break the opening day record of ‘Pushpa 2’ by releasing in the year 2027. The Hindi version of ‘Pushpa 2’ had earned a net of Rs 72 crore on the first day, while its opening at the All India level was Rs 179.25 crore. It is believed that ‘Varanasi’ can cross the Rs 200 crore nett mark on the very first day. Along with this, the film is also expected to have a record-breaking opening at the worldwide level, because it can earn huge profits in India as well as in the overseas markets.

‘Varanasi’ is a Telugu language action-adventure fantasy film. In this, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in the role of Mandakini, Mahesh Babu is playing the role of ‘Rudra’, while Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen as the villain ‘Kumbh’ in the film.
