Eurostar says customers can 'beat the winter blues' with a 'payday' deal. The train operator is offering tickets from £39 for multiple European destinations. Advertising the deal, Eurostar said customers could 'grab a payday pick-me-up' with the one-way ticket offer.
It could be just the thing for any holidaymakers planning a trip in the coming months, with £39 tickets available for passengers travelling to Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam. Eurostar said: "Beat the winter blues with some stunning city views.
"Make payday pay off by bagging tickets to Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam from £39 each way (based on a mandatory return)." It continued: "Travelling to and from London, tickets from £39.

"See our lowest fare finder here for tickets from £39 per person one way based on a mandatory return trip in Eurostar Standard from London St Pancras International to Brussels-Midi/Zuid, Paris, Lille, Amsterdam Centraal or Rotterdam Centraal. Subject to availability. Availability varies according to dates and times. Blackout dates may apply. The earlier you book, the more availability."
Customers could therefore get a £78 return ticket if they time their trip right. For instance, at the time of writing, passengers travelling between London and Paris in March can choose from over 15 dates with £39 outbound tickets and over 20 dates with £39 return tickets. Other tickets in the same month are priced between £55 and £95 for one leg of the journey.
For travellers who can be flexible with dates, it may be worth browsing the available dates to make a purchase. By choosing carefully, passengers could enjoy a significant saving.
The Eurostar website also has a page offering advice for customers looking for cheap tickets. The tips include booking early to get the best prices, booking tickets when sales open, and choosing the cheapest time to travel.
Eurostar says: "The cheapest Eurostar tickets are usually for trains on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And it's not just the fares that are cheap on those days - the hotels are cheaper too. Midweek is a great time to visit Paris - avoid the weekend queues, and have the museums and galleries all to yourself.
The advice continues: "Booking your trip well in advance gives you the best chance to nab a low-cost fare, especially at peak times like bank holidays and weekends. Use the Eurostar app to book with ease and you’ll also be the first to know about new offers and deals.
"Don’t worry if you’re still deciding on the exact dates. With Eurostar, you can book tickets up to 120 days in advance and the earlier you book, the better value the fares."
