Matar Paneer in Cooker: The fastest vegetable to prepare paneer is Matar Paneer. Be it puri or rice, roti or paratha, Matar Paneer curry tastes very tasty with everything. Most people make Matar Paneer in a pan, but when there is shortage of time, you can also make Matar Paneer in a cooker. If you are very hungry and don’t feel like standing and cooking for hours, then cooker-made Matar Paneer is the best option. The best thing is that Matar Paneer vegetable made in cooker turns out to be very tasty. You must try this recipe once.

Recipe for making matar paneer in cooker
First Step- To make Matar Paneer, first of all take 400 grams of paneer. This will take about 1 cup of fresh green peas. Take 2 large onions, 2 large tomatoes, 1 spoon ginger garlic paste and spices, dry red chilli of your choice.

Second Step- Now first of all cut the paneer in the shape of your choice and keep it aside. If you want to use paneer by lightly frying it, you can do so. After frying the paneer, put it in lukewarm water. This will keep the paneer soft and excess oil will also be removed.

Third Step- To make Matar Paneer, add oil as per your requirement in the cooker. Add cumin seeds, whole red chilli, bay leaves, add ground onion and fry till it turns golden. Add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry it a little. Now add crushed tomatoes along with turmeric, chilli, coriander powder and salt.

Fourth Step- Now fry the spices till they leave oil and keep stirring continuously. When the masala leaves oil, add fresh green peas to it. Add some water and cook the peas for 5 minutes. Now put chopped paneer pieces in the cooker and let it mix with the spices. Fry lightly for about 2 minutes and now add water to the vegetable as per your requirement.

Fifth Step- Do not add too much water to make Matar Paneer in the cooker. Vegetables get cooked quickly in the cooker and water does not burn. Therefore, when preparing vegetables, add only as much water as required. Now close the cooker and cook the vegetable on medium flame till 1-2 whistles.

Switch off the gas and let the gas from the cooker come out on its own. After opening the lid, add garam masala to the vegetable and add finely chopped coriander. Mix the vegetables well. Delicious Matar Paneer curry is ready.
