The first look at The Beatles — A Four Film Cinematic Event is finally here.
New images reveal the Fab Four as played by Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, Joseph Quinn and Barry Keoghan.
Mescal stars as Paul McCartney, Dickinson as John Lennon, Quinn as George Harrison and Keoghan as Ringo Starr.
What is surprising is the way these photos were unveiled.
Postcards featuring the cast were distributed on Thursday at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts which is a school co-founded by McCartney.
More postcards appeared at iconic Beatles locations around the world.
These included John Lennon’s childhood home in Liverpool, Hamburg’s Beatles landmarks, New York City’s Strawberry Field, and multiple spots in Tokyo.
Sony Pictures officially released the images publicly on Friday. The four-film project is directed by Sam Mendes.
Each movie will tell the story from the perspective of a different Beatle with all four set to be released in theatres in April 2028.
The cast also stars Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, James Norton as manager Brian Epstein, and Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono.
Other roles include Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey and Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd.
“This marks the first time the band and their descendants have granted music and life rights for a theatrical film,” Sony confirmed.
Mendes previously called the project a major creative challenge.
“I’m honored to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time,” he said, adding that he hopes to “challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies.”
