Good news for young people dreaming of a government job in a bank! State Bank of India (SBI) has announced recruitment for a large number of Circle-Based Officer (CBO) positions. Applications for this vacancy started on January 29th and will continue until the last date, February 18, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official SBI website, sbi.co.in. Applications can only be submitted online; other forms of application will not be accepted.

Graduates are eligible for recruitment.
To apply for SBI CBO positions, candidates must have a graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized university/institution in any stream. Candidates with medical engineering/engineering/CA qualifications are also eligible to apply. Furthermore, the candidate's minimum age should not be less than 21 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years, meaning the candidate must have been born between January 1, 1996, and December 31, 2004. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per the rules.

Application Fee
It is mandatory to submit the prescribed fee (if applicable) along with the application form. Forms without the fee will not be accepted. General, OBC, and EWS category candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 750. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories can apply free of charge.

To fill out the SBI CBO application form 2026, visit the official portal ibpsreg.ibps.in/sbicbonov25/.
On the website's homepage, click on "Click here for New Registration," enter the required details, and register.
After registration, upload your signature and photograph.
Now, enter your basic details, preview the form, and upload other details.
Finally, submit the form after paying the prescribed fee (if applicable).
Take a printout and keep it safe for your records. 

Recruitment Details
Through this recruitment, a total of 2050 vacant positions will be filled across various states and union territories of the country.
